Lily glances through the windows of the compartments as she's passes, but mostly she's looking for her friends. Or things like smoke. Or flames.
And since all she sees in their compartment is a group of (apparently) snoozing students, Lily continues along on her way.
She thinks Cliona and Mary and everyone are just up ahead in the next car.
